She Had Diamonds in Her Eyes

The first day interning for Patti Wilson took me all around the city doing ‘pick ups’ for our next two photo shoots, one being a couture spread of Lindsey Lohan and the other being Vogue Japan. I am always surprised at the locations being sent to because most are set up in apartments. So I go to the places directed and get nervous that I have the wrong address and that someone is going to call the police on me for knocking on their door. Anyways, one of my destinations was just like this. I almost turned around and left, and then a lady with red hair answers the door. She invites me inside into a kitchen. I have this feeling it is a bad horror film waiting to happen until we turn the corner to a room filled with these sunglasses. She and her sister create them at their apartment together. I was so intrigued by the look of the glasses and had to show them to you. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did! I introduce to you Mercura…

  1. Hello ALYPACH
So good meeting you at your pick up! You really bring fresh energy and delightful presence!
You did not notice the whole photo studio. I am confused. Working in a 3,000 square foot space in the Fashion district, the whole floor of a nineteenth century six story building some people have described as our own little Versaille palace!
Well we do have another studio at the Hotel Chelsea but always feel this one right in close view of the Empire State Building to be most impressive. Are you from NYC?

Look forward to seeing you again
    Warmest regards
    Merrilee & Rachel
